Shampoo and conditioner, brands without silicon?

I've heard from many beauticians and hairdressers that the silicon used in supermarket brands is actually bad for hair as it coats your hair and slowly builds up over time and doesnt allow any colour to penetrate so it cant reach the hair shaft.

So which brands of hair products use natural ingredients, or use a good quality silicon?Shampoo and conditioner, brands without silicon?
I don't believe silicone or any ingredients that isn't natural can be good for your hair over time. I found a product line after 42 years of crummy hair and trying all of the drugstore brands cheap and expensive, this line is fantastic and all natural and repairs chemically treated, dry, damaged, frizzy hair. HerStyler hair care products are composed of plants-protein and olive oil and give you absolutely amazing healthy hair that you will notice after the first use. They are economical because you only need a tiny amount. Read more at https:www.infashionsense.com - i hope this is helpful!Shampoo and conditioner, brands without silicon?
Lies. Sort of There's only a handful of ingredients that actually do things for hair, it's just the quantity and chemistry of the ingredients in the products that change. Any silicone ingredients in any shampoo/conditioner will coat the hair, it's what it's supposed to do-seals moisture in and helps humidity out. Most hairdressers aren't cosmetic chemists and they are told what to say about products that they sell (they want to sell their products, not drugstore ones!). There are good drugstore products and bad ones, and the same goes for salon brands. Any shampoo and conditioner that uses a lot of silicone can and probably will build up over time, but it's easily removed by using a different shampoo once in a while. And if someone is worried that they're hair has buildup on it before they get it colored they can always bring it up before the service is done but the color should penetrate through the hair shaft. People get their hair colored when they have hair spray and god knows what else on their hair and they're fine! So anyway, use what products you like and be wary of what you're told, you'd be surprised at how many misguided people are out there lol. If in doubt, do some research on the internet about ingredients and whatnot. Hope I helped!
