Are there certain brands of shampoo that cause dandruff?

Are there certain brands of shampoo/conditioner that make it more likely for one to have dandruff? I recently switched to Pantene and noticed I am begining to have drandruff-I've never had this problem before. Are there certain brands of shampoo that cause dandruff?
yes. Most are allergic to sulfate or other chemicals that make it last on the shelf. Use a all natural shampoo like neem shampoo or shampoo that is sulfate free.

Me and my wife love henna huts shampoo. We use the Aloe Vera one.

My brother also uses the neem shampoo because he has dandruff. Are there certain brands of shampoo that cause dandruff?
Not so much that they cause dandruff it is just that the shampoo is very drying to the scalp and in return it causes flaking.

You might try a shampoo that is higher in moisture and will help stop this problem.

Please let me know if this helps you

PS

might try a baby shampoo for a while too
I *think* so. My scalp seems to be sensitive to different brands of shampoos, and some give me more dandruff than others. One of my hair dressers once told me that Herbal Essence can give you dandruff because of all the chemicals in it that can irritate your scalp. Abd Pantene has a lot of stuff in it. However, it could also depend on the person. I think there is a Pantene for dandruff out there at Target in case you still want to use the brand.
Yes, I heard hair and scap specialist that it is.
