I heard u should switch shampoo brands every 3 months.?

I am currently using Mane 'n Tail. I would need a shampoo and conditioner for weak, brittle, thin hair. (A hair that brings out your color would get you a thumbs up =1 point 4 u)I heard u should switch shampoo brands every 3 months.?
It is not necessary at all to change your shampoo brand every 3 months. If you want a shampoo that helps bring out your colour, John Frieda shampoos/conditioners are absolutely fabulous. To make hair less brittle %26amp; weak, for starters, I would suggest getting it cut. This may sound really nasty, but combing mayonaise through your hair, and leaving it one for 20-30 minutes, then washing it out, with make your hair look amazing. A home fix for thinckening hair is celery juice. Chop up a handful of it, mix it in the blender, then strain the juice from the pulp and massage in to wet hair%26amp;scalp. Leave it on for an hour, then rinse %26amp; shampoo. Do this once a week, and you will actually feel as if you have more hair.I heard u should switch shampoo brands every 3 months.?
The skin of our head produces oil which is best for our hair but the environmental elements like bacteria, fungus etc. reacts with the upper layer of our head skin which pollutes the oil and makes our head itchy... shampoo and conditioners are artificial chemicals which are rarely balanced for our hair. But we don't have a choice... it may be good to use different shampoos in a cyclic order but the type of shampoo we choose does matter... don't be harsh on your hair... Take care... (^_^)
Shampoo's and conditioner's create a 'build up' after so long. Changing them for a just a short time rectifys this. Try the 'John Frieda' range, it's for all types of hair; there are blonde, brunette and red ranges ... excellent for enhancing colour. Alternate between this (or whichever you decide on) and your regular brand every few months.
Its weird but I seem to believe that after a while the shampoo that I am using is not effective anymore. So I usually switch it after a few months. I go between Garnier and Dove and Herbal Essence.
try garnier
bologna
Thats true but if you find one that works w/your hair stck w/it...
I use at least 2 different brands thru the 'cycle' of bottles.. (if that makes sense) then switch whenever they run out... so lots of bottles in my shower... have you tried the L'Oreal professional series? also, the new Herbal Essence line smells delish! there are so many for all types of hair and color! that's what I do!
i do the same as shy gurl
Dumb.. I use Head and Shoulders for like 20 years; no issues
Its true, my hair dresser tells me to switch also.. You hair gets use to the same product after a while and you no longer see or get the results you want.. I switch off between pantene but i really like Treseme products.. Try not to blow dry or use heat products too much on your hair, this could be the reason for weak and brittleness. Get a good trim every 2-3 months. Have you ever tried a leave in conditioning treatment, Pantene has one they come in little packages and don't cost more than a few dollars, they leave my hair feeling soft and rejuvenated. try it.
