Is it ok to use different brands of shampoo & conditioner?

...because on the back of each bottle it claims the product will work best if used with the matching shampoo or conditioner. im just wondering if i used an anti-dandruff shampoo then a damage repairing conditioner would they still work as well in solving my hair problems??Is it ok to use different brands of shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
The recommendations on the back are just a marketing ploy.

The only issue you might have with using different brands is sent mixing. And thats not really a problem just a preference.

I use a volumizing shampoo from Pureology and a repairing conditioner from L'oreal Professional. They really don't smell that great together but the combo is the best for my hair...

That combo should be great for your hair. It sounds like you need all the moisture you can suck up :)Is it ok to use different brands of shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
yea, it's totally fine. it doesn't really matter a lot though, if u can, of course u should buy the matching brand, but if u can't, then don't worry about it. some brands want to make moneyy. hope i helped! =]
Yes it is ok.
It's OK but it better works if they are the same brand
yes i do and my hair got longer
