Is salon brands of shampoo that much better than the stuff you buy at the grocery store?

The brands such as Biolage, Sexyhair, ect. over Suave, DoveIs salon brands of shampoo that much better than the stuff you buy at the grocery store?

i have very dry, thick and coarse hair. and i color my hair. i have tried everything from the salon or boutique and everything from the supermarket. i have found good products in both places.

i ruined my hair but the hairdressers products are great they dont have added sillicon to just coat the hair their products truely fix the hair....trust me!!!! but if you were to get one from the supermarket i use tresseme
